Grade 1 Modern 5 - 7 yrs

In our Grade 1 modern classes, children learn basic modern dance technique and movements as well as improving strength, flexibility and stamina.

Artistic quality and musical awareness are also developed, focusing on contrasts in music and style.

The ISTD syllabus provides a consistent and high quality approach to dance education. These classes ensure that students have a solid foundation and can progress to higher levels of dance with ease.
